What is server-side tracking and why do I need it?

Server-side tracking moves data collection from your visitor's browser to your own server. This bypasses ad blockers and browser limitations, capturing 15-30% more traffic. It also improves privacy compliance and data reliability.

How long does deployment take?

About 20 minutes. You add one DNS record, we deploy the infrastructure automatically. No complex integrations or lengthy coordination needed.

Are my data separate from other clients?

Yes. Each client runs in an isolated GCP project with dedicated Cloud Run, service account, and configuration. Only the Load Balancer and SSL certificates are shared. No data crosses between clients.

What if I want to leave?

No exit fees or lock-in. Export your sGTM container from GTM UI (standard JSON), deploy it anywhere else, change your DNS. Your BigQuery data remains in your project.

How does this compare to an agency setup?

Safari limits JavaScript cookies to 7 days. Cookie Keeper sets cookies server-side from your own domain, extending their lifetime to months. This means returning visitors are recognized correctly — better attribution, more accurate audiences, and fewer false "new users".

How is BigQuery Streaming different from GA4 export?

GA4 exports data to BigQuery once a day with a fixed schema. Our streaming writes every event in real-time with a custom schema — and because it runs through sGTM, it captures data that ad blockers would otherwise hide. You get complete, unsampled data as it happens.
